UBI Business School is proud to announce that we have become a Signatory Member to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) – an United Nations-supported initiative that aims to raise the profile of sustainability in business schools around the world, equipping business students with the understanding and ability to deliver change tomorrow.
As a Signatory Member of PRME, we join over 800+ business and management schools worldwide committed to transforming management education and developing the responsible decision-makers of tomorrow to advance sustainable development. This is achieved through raising the profile of sustainability in the classrooms through Seven Principles focused on serving society and safeguarding our planet:
PRME engages business and management schools to ensure they provide future leaders with the skills needed to balance economic and sustainability goals, while drawing attention to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aligning academic institutions with the work of the UN Global Compact. PRME has become the largest organized relationship between the United Nations and management-related higher education institutions.
Joining PRME is a significant milestone for UBI in our School’s journey to bridge distances through accessible, innovative, and person-centred education focused on creating value in a responsible manner. We are very proud be the 8th business and management school in Belgium to join PRME as a Signatory Member.
