UBI Business School has developed strong ties with worldwide academic institutions and corporate partners, providing our students with unique, innovative and top of the range experiences in selected international financial centres.
We partner with world renowned institutions such as the London School of Economics and Babson College in curating UBI’s International Business Experience.
As an invaluable element of UBI’s programmes, the International Business Experience complements students’ learning through workshops provided by these prestigious academic institutions and first hand exposure of the inner workings of international companies thanks to our global corporate partners.
Beyond these opportunities, UBI also organises optional business immersion trips to Singapore or Shanghai each year.
UBI students have the privilege to attend a series of intensive masterclasses organised by LSE IDEAS at the prestigious London School of Economics. These sessions allow students to gain invaluable insights and critical perspectives in topics ranging from business in society, to global net zero transition.
Furthermore, students have the opportunity to visit, interact, and meet key figures within industries in which the UK are amongst the global leaders: education (LSE IDEAS), insurance & reinsurance (Lloyd’s of London), international manufacturing (Wolverine Worldwide), rule of law (The Old Bailey), and free speech (The Guardian Foundation).
In 2024, our partner, Wolverine Worldwide, sponsored the experience for our women MBA students to support their transformation into forces of change.
The Babson Build programme offers UBI students a one-week intensive immersion into the Entrepreneurial Thought & Action methodology, equipping them with the tools and mindset to excel as innovative thinkers in today’s competitive business environment.
Throughout the week, students explore entrepreneurship, international business challenges, digital marketing, and scaling strategies, ensuring they are well-prepared for the global business landscape. Learning from Babson’s renowned faculty, they also have the chance to build valuable connections, with 55 students from six international institutions participating this year.
The programme’s highlight was the “Shark Tank” style presentations, where UBI student Berat Yunus Bilim’s team won with their innovative EV charging project, “The Navigator”. This experiential activity fostered cross-cultural collaboration and entrepreneurial thinking.
UBI extends its gratitude to Babson College for this exceptional opportunity, looking forward to continued partnership and the success of future cohorts in shaping the next generation of business leaders.
UBI Business School hosted MBA participants from EAE Business School for the Global Executive MBA Singapore Residential programme – the third successful run of this international business experience.
