We wish to extend a note of gratitude to Claudia Alvarez Hernandez, who was our honoured speaker within our bachelor programme and enlightened our students about how “culture is an enabler of AI ethics in a company”. In this public session, she discussed how AI startups use existing solutions in their decision-making process.
Claudia graduated from a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design at the Universidad de Guadalajara and the Master’s Degree in Product-Service System Design at Politecnico di Milano. She stands out for her entrepreneurial spirit and constant curiosity about how different disciplines and cultures face challenges. This curiosity has led her to explore the business ecosystem of Mexico and the United States, collaborating in the Business Incubator of the Tecnológico de Monterrey and in the entrepreneurship simulator TrepCamp. She has ventured into the field of design in Italy during her master’s degree, and is working as a service designer at EGGS, Part of Sopra Steria in Norway and Spain.
