It equips professionals with frameworks and analytical tools to understand how technology can play a key role in strategic energy transition, becoming a key lever for resilience, growth, and differentiation. Designed for managers, engineers, consultants, and professionals aiming to stay ahead of disruptive energy change, the programme combines business strategy and technology foresight with practical application. Delivered in a flexible HyFlex format, participants engage with modules on strategy, sector trends, competitiveness, and new technologies applied to Energy Transition, finishing with a capstone project to apply learnings in real-world contexts. From strategy to execution, the course prepares you to anticipate and act on business decisions driven by the major shifts defining the future of energy.

With up to 70% of energy still fossil‑based mid‑century, organisations face a difficult, staged transition requiring strong strategic and risk capabilities.
  • Reaching net‑zero may require $275 trillion in investment, reshaping capital allocation and long‑term business models. The transition will create 14 million clean‑energy jobs, yet over half will need advanced skills – revealing a major leadership gap.
  • This creates a clear opportunity for a postgraduate programme that prepares future decision‑makers to lead the strategic, financial, and technological dimensions of the energy transition.

“I decided to expand my expertise beyond 20 years in the Medical Department and went into Artificial Intelligence, combining it with my medical and leadership background. Passion alone isn’t enough, so I went back to campus ….. Classes take place every other week, on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. It’s an intensive study and research programme that demands most of my free time, but my curiosity continues to keep me motivated.”
