UBI Business School and Nebrija Business & Technology School have formed a partnership for academic and research collaboration, which will include the development of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in management and business aimed at the Spanish-speaking market.

The collaboration began in October 2024 with the launch of the Master’s in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Management, developed jointly with Nebrija University for a dual degree programme (Master’s in Lifelong Learning) and an MSc in Management from Middlesex University. Microsoft is also involved in the delivery of this postgraduate course.

This agreement also allows for the future development of new programmes in other specialisations. It includes opportunities for faculty exchanges, student participation at UBI Business School campuses, joint research projects, cooperation with international institutions, publications, and other academic collaborations.

Current content

With this agreement, Nebrija Business & Technology School and UBI Business School are strengthening their international presence by combining their resources and reputations. Their aim is to provide students, faculty, and business professionals with access to cutting-edge programmes that address key challenges in the corporate world.

Key topics will include technology management, the integration of artificial intelligence into business models, demographic challenges, and the economic impact of geostrategic conflicts. Both institutions plan to collaborate on research and development projects related to these areas.

Representing UBI Business School,  the signing of the agreement was attended by its dean, Gastón Fornes, together with María Altamira, academic director; Josh Lim, managing director; and Desmond Yap, deputy managing director. On behalf of Nebrija University, the vice-rector for Academic Planning and Faculty, Luis Díaz, and the vice-rector for Students, Employability and Internationalization, Gerardo Mochales, attended; on behalf of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEE), Ana Fernández-Ardavín, dean; and Margarita Núñez Canal, director of postgraduate studies at FEE and Nebrija Business & Technology School ; and the director of Internationalization, Mónica García-Romero.
