A Week of Immersion in Entrepreneurial Thought & Action
The Babson Build program provides a one-week intensive immersion into the Entrepreneurial Thought & Action methodology. This approach equips students with the tools and mindset needed to thrive as out-of-the-box thinkers in today’s competitive business landscape.
Throughout the week, UBI students delve into the intricacies of entrepreneurship, gaining insights into international business challenges, innovative business model creation, digital marketing strategies, and the complexities of scaling operations. This holistic approach ensures that students are well-prepared to navigate and excel in the dynamic world of international business.
Learning from the Best and Building Connections
The final day of the Babson Build program marks the culmination of a transformative journey. Students not only enhance their professional acumen by learning from Babson’s esteemed faculty but also have the unique opportunity to forge valuable business connections. This year, 55 students from six different international institutions came together, fostering a rich environment of collaborative learning and networking.
A special thanks is due to Professor Jay Rao and the entire Babson staff for their hospitality and professionalism, which made this experience truly unforgettable. Their dedication and expertise provided UBI students with a rare glimpse into the entrepreneurial mindset, further enriching their learning journey.
Showcasing Talent in a “Shark Tank” Style Presentation
The highlight of the Babson Build program was undoubtedly the “Shark Tank” style presentations, where students from various schools and nations teamed up to pitch entrepreneurial opportunities. This experiential learning activity not only honed their pitching and presentation skills but also encouraged cross-cultural collaboration and innovative thinking.
A standout moment was when UBI student Berat Yunus Bilim’s team won the competition with their project, “The Navigator.” This groundbreaking initiative aims to revolutionise EV charging through the use of autonomous robotics.
