As education is constantly evolving, the focus on the student experience is becoming ever so important. UBI has made an important effort to become even more student focused. As an example of this, we are launching the “living culture” initiative for the MBA programme.
This initiative aims to enhance the role of classroom group culture in influencing student engagement, academic achievement, and psychological well-being.
A “living culture” is one that includes a set of values, behaviours and norms developed by the group that both faculty and students commit to doing. Students will have the freedom to contribute to this living culture as they progress through the programme so that anyone can add or delete items as the culture matures.
We believe this initiative will help in fostering inclusivity, reduce biases, enhance communication, promote empathy, support professional development, and prepare students to address real-world challenges, enhancing the educational experience for a diverse and interconnected world.
