Continuous Support

Continuous Support

At UBI, learning is student-centred by design, but never student-isolated.

orange vector

While we place autonomy, responsibility, and active learning at the core of our educational philosophy, every student benefits from continuous, structured, and personalised support throughout their academic journey. From undergraduate to doctoral level, UBI combines academic guidance, professional mentoring, and personal development support to ensure students progress with clarity, confidence, and real impact.

Support at every level

What support looks like changes with the stage of study. The structure behind it does not.

BSc

Undergraduate

Supporting the transition and building foundations

At Bachelor level, student support focuses on guiding the transition into higher education and building strong academic and professional foundations. Classes of no more than 35 students, accessible faculty, academic advisors and dedicated student services ensure close follow-up and early intervention. Students receive continuous feedback, structured guidance, and wellbeing support, helping them develop essential analytical, communication, and teamwork skills while gaining early exposure to career orientation.

MSc & MBA

Postgraduate

Personalised guidance and career acceleration

At Master’s level, support becomes highly personalised and career-oriented. Students benefit from one-to-one mentoring by faculty actively engaged in industry, integrated career and wellbeing coaching, and guidance shaped around individual professional goals. This support runs throughout the programme and intensifies during the Integrative Management phase, where students are guided to translate academic learning into concrete, real-world outcomes that directly support their professional progression.

  • One-to-one mentoring by faculty active in industry
  • Guidance shaped around individual professional goals
  • Integrated career and wellbeing coaching
  • Intensifies through the Integrative Management phase

Postgraduate Certificate

Postgraduate

Lifelong learning with full support

Short-cycle study at UBI is supported on the same terms as any other programme. Certificate students sit in the same classes, with the same faculty access and the same structured follow-up as degree students. Because the timeframe is compressed, support here is oriented around momentum: quick onboarding, fast and specific feedback, and early conversations about where the certificate leads. Advisors work with students from the outset on how the qualification fits their wider professional path, whether that means applying it directly at work or building on it towards a full master’s.

  • Same classes and faculty access as degree students
  • Fast, specific feedback
  • Applied directly at work, or built on towards a master’s
  • Quick onboarding
  • Early conversations about where the certificate leads

DBA

Doctoral

High-touch, dual mentorship

DBA candidates receive continuous, high-touch support through a dual-mentorship model combining academic supervision with industry insight. This structure ensures doctoral rigour while maintaining strong relevance to professional practice. Candidates are supported across the full research journey — from project definition through to the final doctoral output and viva voce — allowing them to balance executive responsibilities with advanced research and impact creation.

  • Academic supervision paired with industry insight
  • From project definition to doctoral output and viva voce
  • Support across the full research journey
  • Built around executive responsibilities

Across All Programmes

Integrative Management: turning learning into impact

Across all programmes, Integrative Management acts as a unifying element of student support. Through applied projects, mentoring and structured feedback, students are supported in bringing together knowledge, skills and professional ambition into outputs that create measurable economic and social value.

No student is left navigating complexity alone, and learning always connects to impact.
